A holy, inclusive and healthy community of Peace, Love and Joy!
Dear Sisters and Brothers of St. Alban's,
Once again we are at the doors of the most beautiful Christian celebration: the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am taking this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and blessed Christmas.
I had the privilege of taking a sabbatical leave during October and November and I must express how this time invigorated and brought me back to my spiritual home with more energy to, together continue building the kingdom of God among us.
Again this year, brothers and sisters, Christ comes to us to reveal his extraordinary message, the message of love, joy and happiness,. Christ asks us to have love for each other, to be reconciled with one another and to accept one another. Each of us has been entrusted with a special gift a sacred responsibility to show others how the mystery of God is among us.
During this holy season of Advent and Christmas, I would like to remind you that we are here to serve and love people, especially strangers, the poor and the lonely. As we opened the doors of our church during the year, and experienced the miracle of sharing our resources, gifts and talents, I firmly believe this holy season will be an opportunity to come together and make a commitment to continue to grow in our faith and to make a difference in the lives of others.
In the midst of this busy time I invite you to take the time to join our services and celebrations. Let us come together, enjoy the loving Christian fellowship and pray together here at St. Alban's Church during this Christmas season. We pray that you will continue to prosper in health and wealth so the good work of the Lord Jesus will continue to flourish in our Parish.
Please see our Schedule of Services on the HOME page.
I wish you a Holy and Merry Christmas
Father Javier Arias
